Our church served as the host site for a very special community event: The Peaceful Caregiver --Caregiver Retreat. This event was held on Monday, September 18th from 11:30am--2:00pm in our Fellowship Hall and was sponsored by Carolina Caring and the Area Agency on Aging.  Lunch was provided along with a free copy of the book, "The Peaceful Caregiver". Caregiving poses its own unique challenges and this retreat offered attendees support in the caregiver role -- whether for now or in the future.
